Half the World Away from the band Oasis was made for an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. It earned her some recognition. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano in her basement, and being fascinated at the sound it created. Parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as a profession or a pastime, but to grow. The Aksnes family inspired her to write. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored composers. When her mother told her that the songs she composed might not make her famous rather to help individuals to recognize the value of themselves and their impact to our world at large, she began playing them on stage. When she began playing the piano, she was just six and was writing her first song when she was nine. It was unknown to her family until she turned fourteen. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. Aurora claims she loves writing music. The songs she creates are the way that she feels anything.
